Johngy Classic Meets Chavo Classic

The Guerrero family has been involved in wrestling since 1937, when patriarch Gory made his debut. All four of Gory's sons became pro wrestlers.
The Guerrero family (or Los Guerreros as they were often called when in any combination) has won many championships as solos or in various combinations. They succeeded everywhere they went, but the run of (the late) Eddie, Chavo and Chavo Jr. with the WWE could be considered their biggest success (as well as exposure).
Although well past his wrestling prime, Chavo worked well as a manager (and sometimes partner) for Chavo Jr. Chavo caught on with the fans and became known as Chavo Classic. It was great to see the longtime veteran in the spotlight like that. Too often, the stars of yesteryear in any business are forgotten.
When I met Chavo Classic, he seemed thrilled to be appearing at the convention. He really was enjoying his newfound fame.
