Ellen Joins Idol

It's Ellen! Degeneres announced her new gig yesterday during a taping of her talk show. The funny lady is a long-time fan of American Idol. She'll bring a fresh perspective to the judge's table since she doesn't have a background in the music industry. She's just a everyday music-lover! And she'll bring a consumer's opinion to the show.

A Little Botox for Paula?

For all of you American Idol watchers out there, this photo of Paula Abdul from Dlisted.com does appear to show some Botox working well to prevent wrinkles between her eyebrows (the glabella). It looks like she's trying to grimace but can't. This is exactly what Botox (or Dysport) can do to prevent the "11" sign between the eyebrows.

Has Paula Abdul Had More Plastic Surgery?

Like millions of people, I watch American Idol. Like millions of people, I think that Paula Abdul has a screw loose. And, like millions of people, I also think she's had some plastic surgery.

I've commented in a previous post about her possible browlift and rhinoplasty (click here for the post) and in a separate post about her possible breast implants (click here for that post). Is it possible that she's had another rhinoplasty sometime during AI's hiatus? I think it is.

The photo above appears to show a nose that is a bit longer and thinner than she had last year. Cityrag has some before and after photos here. I think she may have had a slight tweak to her nose. Lengthening a nose isn't the easiest thing to do, and often requires moving a piece of cartilage from the ear, nasal septum, or rib to the nose.

Overall she looks as pretty as ever. At least her surgeon didn't make her nose go "Straight Up!"

Paula Abdul Catches Fan Taking Pics of Her Peeing

Poor Paula Abdul was shocked to discover an adoring fan photographing her over a toilet cubicle partition. Paula revealed:

"I was mortified, and she didn't think there was anything wrong with it. I honestly was weirded out by that and she was so nervous that she thought I wouldn't even notice.

And I was like, 'No, no, that's not cool.' I said to her, 'A real good tip, don't do that to anyone else.'"

The avid fan is probably selling the money shots to a photo agency right now!

Fashion Designer Faces Multiple Rape Charges

Fashion designer to the stars, Anand Jon, has been arrested on charges of rape. Currently he is accused of raping two people, and is suspected in the rape of at least three others.

According to the felony complaint obtained by TMZ, Jon allegedly committed a variety of horrific acts on four separate victims between October of 2004 and March 5, 2007. Along with two counts of forcible rape, Jon is also facing charges of "sexual battery by restraint, attempted forcible oral copulation and two counts of committing a lewd act upon a child."

In the document, police claim that Anand, 30, used an accomplice during the alleged sexual battery and forcible copulation. The investigation into that person is ongoing.

Jon, who has been featured on MTV and is known to hang out with Paris Hilton, Paula Abdul and Michelle Rodriguez, was arrested by Beverly Hills Police on March 6, after one of his accusers came forward to authorities. An investigation uncovered three other potential victims, the youngest of whom is 15-years-old.

Jon is currently behind bars in Los Angeles County Jail, as reported earlier by New York Daily News, with bail set at $1,365,000. Jon is due back in court to face a judge on April 4.

Paris Hilton was scheduled to attend a major launch of Anand Jon's new line in India in Fall 2007, where Jon was born. The New York based designer has appeared on "America's Next Top Model." AJ Jeans were unveiled on Valentine's Day at MAGIC, a huge fashion industry convention in Las Vegas.

Greasy Bear is "Assinine Bear"

Brandon "Greasy Bear" Davis made a total ass of himself at Paris Hilton's birthday party, insulting guests, breaking glasses, and throwing objects. Two targets in particular, Paula Abdul and Courtney Love, exited the festivities early, and the scene left Paris in tears.

The evening started at Prime Grill in Beverly Hills, where guests included Abdul, Love, Davis, Stavros Niarchos, Nicole Richie, Joel Madden, Hilton's parents, and more. Around 10pm, Davis, who was visibly intoxicated, began haranguing Paula Abdul, alternately throwing flowers at her and then ridiculing her heritage by speaking gibberish in a faux Arabic accent. Abdul, who was supposed to sing Happy Birthday to Paris, left the party early before singing, when Davis began throwing Styrofoam flower cups at her. Then Davis grabbed Courtney Love, picked her up and had her straddling his waist, while he screamed "I wanna squirt on you!" and dry humped her. All this in front of Love's daughter, Frances Bean. Courtney and Frances also exited early, leaving through the kitchen. After breaking glasses and knocking over candles on the table, Davis was "encouraged to leave".

The party then moved to Hilton's house, where Davis had the cajones to show up and invite himself in. Security kept him downstairs, where he was kept away from Paris for the rest of the evening.

Another 'Idol' Scandal

There is yet another scandal surrounding Fox hit show 'American Idol', but this time it centers around British meanie Simon Cowell, and lets beleaguered, and perpetually out of it, Paula Abdul off the hook.

Rumors are flying that Simon has been accused of planting a British pop star, Tom Lowe, who was once signed to Cowell's record company. He made it through the audition in Seattle, and has his golden ticket to Hollywood, but some other Idol wannabe's aren't happy about it.

Lowe was a member of British boy band North And South, who scored four minor British hit singles on Cowell's record label before splitting in 1998, but Cowell claims he can't remember him.

However, a furious contestant tells British newspaper The Daily Star, "It's really suspicious that they were at the same record company. Simon claims he doesn't remember him but there's a feeling among some people that this could be a fix. A career in the States could be worth $195 million so there's a lot at stake and people aren't happy."

Courtney Love Next American Idol Trainwreck?

According to US Weekly, Courtney Love has confirmed that she has received a call from producers of American Idol asking if she would like to sit in at the judging table. Idol has a standing tradition of having guest judges sit in occasionally, the most recent being Jewel and Carol Bayer Sager.

Love declined to reveal any more details, but a source tells US that Idol is actually fishing for a replacement for Paula Abdul, and Love is under consideration.

What the hell?? Sure Paula has been a bit out of it lately, but why on earth would you replace her with someone who could just as easily show up to work with a needle stuck in her arm, if she shows up at all? On top of that, I'm not exactly sure that her new "surgically enhanced" face is camera friendly enough.
