Steampunk Spider Sculpture : Work in progress

A while ago i made a cicada with copper , brass and clock gears . I have decided to build more bugs and I'm making a spider with any material i can find around and be inspired by . This is the first preview . I will cover the skin with patch of metal from old clocks and add brass knobby parts to it . For the finishing touch i plan to add some rusty texture or something like that .
