Meryl Streep and Heidi Klum Not Fond of Plastic Surgery

Both Meryl Streep and Heidi Klum have recently gone on record as being anti-plastic surgery. According to thecelebritycafe.com:

“You'd be amazed how many men in the industry have gone down that road,” Meryl Streep observed. "I don't get it.” Streep revealed that true actors should realize that often more interesting roles come to the older set anyway. “The good thing about getting older is that when they do cast you it's often something interesting - you're no longer asked to be the beautiful leading lady,” she said. When actors aren’t hired just for their matinee looks they are given the chance to play roles that “examine all the idiosyncrasies people have.” Streep remained refreshingly free of believing in unattainable standards of youth and beauty. “I think you have to embrace getting older and celebrate life,” she advised.

According to tob.hollywood.com, Heidi Klum stated:

There’s something odd when you’re 35 or 40 and ironed to the max. You change with time, and it’s fine. Everywhere there are these stand-up cards saying, ‘Have a little silicone while you get your roots done.’ I want to be the opposite of that.

It's easy for them to say that. One is arguably one of the greatest actresses of all time, and the other is a supermodel. I say, to each their own!

Heidi Klum Opts for Butt Cleavage

Personally, I don't care if you are a supermodel, or how hot you are, I just have an issue with anyone's mom going out to a public appearance viewed by millions, with your ass hanging out for all to see. Also not hot is the bizarrely multi-colored tiger striped sequin dress she is barely wearing. MILF or not, Heidi Klum needs to hire a new stylist with more taste and class.

By the way, this was for a Victoria's Secret fashion show.

It appears that popwreck Britney Spears may have have stopped off and done a little Halloween shopping at Trailer Trashy Lingerie this year, which is the only way to explain this outfit. She actually wore this hot mess out in public, crashing Heidi Klum's party with her cousin Alli Sims in tow.

I love the addition of the little pot belly to her costume to complete the look.

Elle MacPherson and Heidi Klum Make Nice

Buzzed! reports that Supermodel Elle MacPherson has dropped her lawsuit against that other Supermodel, Heidi Klum. The suit was a result of Heidi referring to herself in a Victoria's Secret commercial as "The Body", which was how MacPherson was known in the '90's during her career. Consequently MacPherson thought it was her rightful title, and Klum was infringing on it. Unfortunately for Elle, I think no one trademarked the title, so legally anyone could use it.

Elle, however, says it was a meeting with the Dalai Lama that led her to drop the suit. Apparently he made her see that sharing the name was no big deal.

She says: "A few people have made me stop in my tracks and the Dalai Lama would be one of them. It's no big deal for me. She can have the name.”

Good for Elle. However, sharing was one of those things I learned in Kindergarten, and didn't need a spiritual leader to tell me.

As Heidi Klum proved on Friday, even supermodels need makeovers from time to time. Paging Tim Gunn!

The mother of three popped into the hip Neil George Salon in Beverly Hills with her hair undone and nary a drop of makeup. Auf Wiedersehn, stylists! Klum was dressed to the ones in her hoodie, t-shirt and ripped jeans ensemble, looking like a Seattle schoolgirl en route to a Nirvana concert in 1991. Smells like teen spirit, indeed.

After undergoing some unknown treatments, Klum emerged a few hours later ... looking exactly the same! Someone get The Body her Victoria's Secret wings back, and fast!

Sidenote: IMO Heidi looks an awful lot like Charlize Theron in Monster. Clean it up, girl!
