The Real Reason for Barton/Adler Split

Janet Charlton reveals the real reason for Mischa Barton and Cisco Adler's split, and it had nothing to do with internet pics of Adler's saggy nutsack. Mischa was actually the dumpee, and it had to do with her hard partying and wild ways. Cisco had enough and gave Barton an ultimatum: "Clean it up or get lost."

Mischa is well known for her wild girls nights out and coming home trashed. Charlton reports that her excessive behavior caused personality changes - moodiness, crying jags, and paranoia. Cisco and some of Mischa's worried girlfriends got together and staged something like an intervention. They want her to clean up her act.

The quasi-intervention didn't stick, and Adler hit the road. Barton was photographed this week getting high in a friend's car while out driving around LA.

Cisco and Mischa Still Together after 'Ballgate'

Cisco Adler, the really gross looking rocker boyfriend of Mischa Barton, is going on the record to say the twosome are still together. This, despite rampant reports that Barton dumped him after a nude photo of Adler, with his ballsack hanging about down to his knees, surfaced on the internet. The photo was just one of many scandalous pics that surfaced on parisexposed.com.

"They are fine – very happy together," a rep for Contango Records, the label that handles Adler's band, Whitestarr, tells People magazine.

Adler does say that Mischa wasn't too excited about 'Ballgate', as he calls it, but he seems unfazed by the whole thing. "I think it's pretty rock 'n' roll. You know, if it was like yesterday I would've freaked out, but then I looked at the picture and I was like, 'Oh, that's from like 2001. Whatever.' "

He does say that he's going to try and keep his pants on from now on.

Mischa and Cisco Almost Busted

Cisco Adler and Mischa Barton came within minutes of being part of a search and seizure warrant being executed on a medical marijuana distribution center on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood on January 17. Adler’s visit to the center that day was no different than any number of times he visited it. As usual, Cisco, 28, parked his Mercedes on the busy street with girlfriend Mischa, 20, waiting patiently in the passenger seat. Cisco was buzzed in, and after less than five minutes he appeared with a small white bag, and the two drove off. As they left, the former OC star and her rocker beau failed to notice that two nearby side streets were lined with police cars, and Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) officers wearing bullet proof vests who were preparing to raid the small store front. Just fifteen minutes after Cisco and Mischa drove off, the agents stormed in and sifted through documents, copied hard drives, and carted away pounds of marijuana and other paraphanalia.
