New Acrylic Painting & Speed Painting

A friend at work is very ill, and some co-workers decided to organize a charity auction for him. So I took the opportunity to do my first Acrylic painting in close to 10 years, and donate it to the auction. Here's the speed painting I did as a test for the final painting.



And here's the final acrylic, went for a more night time look for the final piece. I had forgotten how awesome and at the same time difficult it is to paint traditionally without the advantages of undo or color correction. But I'm glad I had the chance to do it again, I learned a lot.
