Where I've been

Have you noticed my lack of posting lately? Well, I have been busy,,,,, I have been taking a ceramics class. I have been away from ceramics for over 25+ years, oh my!!!! I have always loved it and have always wanted to get back to it. Now that my son is older, there is more time for me! Pursuing things I love. I love throwing,,,,,(on the wheel) you can make several items in a matter of minutes, (if you are good),,, quick results,,, that's me!!!!! I was hoping to show you my first piece, but like any good thing I need to be more patient,,,,, the glaze didn't come out just right so I am having it re-fired. It's just a test piece so I can learn about what all the glazes do. I am creating with Laguna B, which is a white clay. I hope to make some pieces with porcelain when I upgrade my skills a bit.

It's kinda like riding a bike, it all comes back. ;)
I have some studio time this weekend. Unfortunately I won't have much to show,,,,, yet..... stay tuned......
