Wet Cement and Butterflies

I did this mani yesterday morning and since then my boyfriend and I have been doing tons of spring cleaning so unfortunately this mani did not last long and is all chipped already :( While at Riteaid a couple days ago I picked up some more polishes. Yes I bought more and yes I need to stop. I couldn't help it because they were on sale but I will get to all of that in tomorrows post! Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Wet Cement was one of the colors that I picked up because I did not have a nice grey. I ended up really liking this color. As all of the Xtreme Wear polishes it goes on smooth and dries pretty quickly.

Here is a pic of Wet Cement by itself:

Then of course I had to stamp it because polish all by itself is boring to me.

For this mani I used 2 coats of Wet Cement. I then stamped on the black flower design using plate M73 from the MASH  set and Wet n Wild Black Creme. I then stamped the butterfly from M20 of the MASH set using Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in Whirlwind White. I topped the whole thing with a coat of SV.

On a little side note Black Creme is the best black that I have found for stamping! It goes on so dark and is really thick and creamy!! Also I got it at Biglots for $1 which makes it even better! The Insta-Dri polishes work very well for stamping but you have to be very quick or it will dry on the plate or on the stamper and won't transfer correctly to the nail. I am going to start a page about polishes that work well for stamping so if you have any polishes that work very well for stamping please let me know so I can add it to the list.

Thanks for stopping by!

Valentine's Day Mani's

I am back sorry for the lack of post but Ive been extremely busy with my organizations annual report that  is due tomorrow. So I finally came up for air from 4 different clubs data to show you some Valentine day manis. First my co-worker asked me to do her nails to go to New Jersey for the weekend to celebrate her anniversary with her boyfriend. She wanted a black and white design and this is what I came up with. I also applied brush on gel nails because she had nubbins.

One coat of Wet N Wild Black creme
stamped with Konad white special polish and Sally Hansen Pink jade chrome
Image plates: M73 and BM02
(please excuse her horrible over grown cuticles she did not let me get rid of them and
I couldn't push them back anymore)

I added a little glitter to her nails.

Now I didn't really have much time to do my own nails so I kept it simple. I just recently got a bunch of Essie polishes and the one I been dying to try was the discontinued Essie Bermuda shorts. I had that all week and decided to make is more Valentines dayish so I added 2 accent fingers with Konad white special polish and but a lips on my ring and thumb from BM02.

3 coats of Essie Bermuda Shorts
1 coat of Seche Vite

Accent finger lips from BM02 with Konad's white special polish

That's all for now I got some haul post coming up!
