Sarah Jessica Parker - What's the Big Deal?

For some reason, the removal of Sarah Jessica Parker's chin mole has actually made news. Apparently she showed up to Yankee stadium without a nevus on her chin and the media has made a big deal out of it.

Ho hum, I take moles off all the time. Usually insurance actually pays for it, although not very much. Moles are rarely cancerous. Check out my post on John McCain if you want to know how to spot a dangerous mole. However, if you have any concern about a mole, have your dermatologist or plastic surgeon take a peek at it.

This would be bigger news if it was Cindy Crawford's signature mole.

The Night Of The Golden Popcorn

Last night at Universal City, the MTV Movie Awards were a happenin'. As celebs graced the gold carpet, it was really all about those who took home the golden bucket of popcorn. Funnyman Mike Myers hosted the soiree while big winners included Johnny Depp, who took home awards for both Pirates and Sweeney Todd, Juno's Ellen Page for Best Female Performance, Hairspray's Link Larkin (Zac Efron) for Breakout Star, Will Smith for Best Male Performance in I am Legend, Iron Man for Best Summer Movie So Far and Transformers for the Best Movie. With hot performances from Coldplay and the Pussycat Dolls, the stars came out for a much-talked about awards show.

SJP channeled her inner Carrie Bradshaw with an amazing dress, jewels, ankle-high boots and Stanford, Lindsay Lohan made a glamorous appearance in purple, (she even had a Marilyn moment on the carpet!) Rihanna and "good friend" Chris Brown (after his dance off with Myers) sat very close to each other throughout the whole show, The Hills are apparently still alive, the Best Kiss awardees Briana Evigan and Robert Hoffman definitely proved that they deserved the prize, Adam Sandler sang his own tribute after earning the Generation Award and Megan Fox gave the best plug for the sequel to Transformers. Overall, a very entertaining evening!

These Are A Few Of My Favorite Scenes

The weekend dedicated to SATC continues as I bring you my favorite Carrie Bradshaw moments:

This last dress that SJP wore during Carrie's cleaning-out-closet extravaganza is the same one she wore in the opening credits of the show! How clever!

I agree with the girls, it def. belongs in the take pile.

Sarah Jessica Parker - Rhinoplasty?

Has Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker had a rhinoplasty? This one is not obvious. When comparing these photos, it does appear that the tip of her nose is a bit thinner, which could be the result of a subtle rhinoplasty.

If she did have a rhinoplasty, then her surgeon was very conservative, so as to not change her look too much. The worst thing that could happen to her would be what happened to Jennifer Grey, where the nose was altered so much that she was not recognizable as her old self. This has obviously not happened to Sarah Jessica Parker. I do think she is aging very gracefully, and actually looks better now than she did 15 or 20 years ago. Being married to Ferris Bueller may have its benefits!

In Style.com has a photo progression of SJP from 1984 (photo above) to the present. I don't see a huge difference in the photos with regards to the schnozz, but maybe a more subtle one from 2006-2007? Click here for link.

May 30th Is Here!

Today is finally the day to "get carried away." I just did and what a ride it was! A very emotional rollercoaster I must say! No spoilers for those out there who haven't seen it yet, but oh so exciting and oh so fabulous! Right now I'm thinking my weekend might include seeing it over and over again. And no, I'm really not kidding!

Welcome Home Girls!

Last night's HUGE event brought out NYC's favorite girls to Radio City for the highly-anticipated SATC premiere. Along with some of NYC's own, many a fan and not to mention the rain, Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha returned home to an amazing reception and an outpouring of love.

With a front-row on-the-pink-carpet view, I witnessed everything from the flash that was Ashley Olsen and Jennifer Hudson's short bob (she was even being touched up on the carpet in-between interviews!) to SJP's GORGEOUS dress (she said she thought it looked like the Empire State building, how NYC of you Carrie Bradshaw!) and Patricia Field's radiant hair and personality. Lynn Cohen, who plays Magda, was adorable and even commented on the girl power of our fabulous video slash interview team! Jason Lewis was whisked by as he walked into the venue, but did look back to smile, so don't worry Smith, I forgive you. The Donald stopped for a brief moment as did Cynthia Nixon, Willie Garson, (who just adopted a son, aw!) Donna Karan, Fergie and Idina Menzel. The mob scene that was NYC last night once again showed how excited this city is for their SATC!

After the premiere, we were able to get a sneak preview of the after-party held at the MoMA. With the Swarovski-crystal couch, the trees wrapped in pink lights, bouquets of flowers, the music (deejayed by Samantha Ronson, and no Lindsay was not there), the appetizers and a sample of the "Carried Away" cosmo, the scene was more than glamourous!

More deets to come!

Another City, Another Premiere

The ladies of SATC graced the red carpet as their highly-anticipated summer movie premiered in Berlin yesterday.

Once again, the fab. four looked STUNNING as they continued to conquer the world.

SATC Premieres

Sex and the City: The Movie premiered today in London and all four girls looked gorgeous!

I LOVE LOVE SJP, but I'm kinda curious about what seems to be growing on the top of her head. I can't yet decide if I love the Carrie-esque look, or if it might be a tad bit too crazy...

Actually, I think I just made up my mind. I love it! That girl can wear anything, in character or not, and I'll always be amazed!

And a little fyi, SJP reportedly has 81 costume changes in the movie! That deserves an OMG for sure!

May 30th is just around the corner, can't wait!

Worst Dressed Celeb of the Day: Lucy Liu

My little Lucy Liu is one of my favorite actresses, making a rep for herself as a butt-kicking man-eater with a sharp tongue and killer bod, but Lucy's fashion sense seems to have jumped the shark lately, since starring in ABC's 'Cashmere Mafia'. Liu looks as if she put on a '27 Dresses' bridesmaid costume or 80's prom dress, then got attacked by a cotton candy machine on steroids. Apparently her fashion choices have been influenced (badly) by costume designer Patricia Fields, formerly of 'Sex and the City, and currently of 'Cashmere Mafia'. Fields was responsible for putting the horrendously avant garde costumes on Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), which were all unique, to say the least.

I think Lucy should stick to her own fashion sense, which usually falls in the tasteful and classic area, and always presentable.

'Sex and the City' Scene

I really don't want to believe that Sarah Jessica Parker would walk outside in real life dressed in this get-up. Thank God it's only a costume for the 'Sex and the City' movie, because she looks like a leftover gargantuan wedding favor with all that tulle and poof stuffed inside. Either that or a giant snowglobe.
