DiCaprio and Model Bar Rafaeli Back On

Leonardo DiCaprio romance with Israeli model Bar Rafaeli is apparently back on, since the on again couple was spotted holding hands at the Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills last week. I guess this means that Bar's romance with pro surfer/rebound guy Kelly Slater is off.

Leo DiCaprio and Girlfriend to be Parents?

The Post Chronicle says that Leonardo DiCaprio and Israeli model girlfriend Bar Rafaeli are going to be proud parents in the Fall.

Friends of the couple - who have been dating for 15-months - claim the pair are absolutely "delighted" with the news.

Leo reportedly felt the fatherhood urge after his friend, 'Spider-Man' star Tobey Maguire celebrated the birth of his first child last November.

A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "He dotes on Tobey's little girl Ruby and has been asking him all about what it's like to being a dad." The couple's happy news comes shortly after reports Leo proposed to Bar, followed by a secret engagement party in Tel Aviv.

No official word from the pair's reps, but then again, it's always "deny, deny, deny" with them until about the time the kid actually pops.

DiCaprio's Bodyguards Arrested in Israel

Leonardo DiCaprio and on-again girlfriend Bar Rafaeli are in Israel for a vacation. Unfortunately the army of photogs chasing them around are giving them no peace, even taking to the air in helicopters to snap the pair.

When the couple took a tour of the tunnels near the Western Wall in Jerusalem, a scuffle broke out between Leo's bodyguards and the paps. As they were hurried away by bodyguards, photographers pounced and "fists flew", according to onlookers.

Two of the bodyguards were arrested and are being held by Israeli police.

Partygoer's Get More Than Good Food

Apparently a catering employee of world famous chef, Wolfgang Puck, forgot the first rule of restaurant workers: Employees must wash their hands before returning to work.

The employee has been diagnosed with acute Hepatitis A, and the health department has issued an "urgent warning" to all partygoers who have sampled Puck's wares at recent events. According to TMZ, that star studded list includes names like Beyonce, Leo di Caprio's girlfriend Bar Rafaeli, and dozens of Sports Illustrated swimsuit models.

The health department's warning has strongly urged anyone who attended the SI party, or any of the 13 other events catered by Puck between Feb. 1- 20, to get an immune globulin shot by tomorrow to prevent illness.

When contacted, a rep from Puck's catering company would not tell TMZ which other events Puck catered, nor would they reveal how many other people may have been exposed to the illness. They did say, however, that no one who attended Sunday's Governor's Ball at the Academy Awards is at risk.

According to press reports the Israeli-born model was unable to keep up with Leo's hectic schedule and hard-partying ways. This comes after recent reports of the two fighting via cel phone and text messages while diCaprio was out clubbing.

Hollywood star Brad Pitt is demanding more masculine film roles after confessing to feeling envious of Leonardo DiCaprio's recent movie successes. DiCaprio garnered a Best Actor Oscar nomination yesterday (23JAN07) for his role as a South African mercenary in Blood Diamond, while his other blockbuster The Departed is up for Best Motion Picture. He plays an undercover cop in the crime thriller. Now Pitt is keen to match the critical acclaim he's attracted by signing up for more macho parts, like his Tyler Durden character in Fight Club. He says, "I caught myself on the phone the other day. Leo has been playing some real strong men these last few years and I found myself saying, 'I want to play more of a man.' I got off the phone and I thought, 'No, live like a man, and the movies will follow.'"

DiCaprio: 'Titanic' Made Me Want to Quit Acting

Leonardo DiCaprio wanted to give up acting for a time after the hit movie "Titanic."

DiCaprio was back to being considered a "another piece of cute meat" after the 1997 film's spectacular box office success, an image he had wanted to get away after his days on the cover of teen magazines, he told Newsweek for editions on newsstands Monday.

"It was pretty disheartening to be objectified like that. I wanted to stop acting for a little bit," he said at the magazine's Oscar panel discussion with other actors. "It changed my life in a lot of ways, but at the same time, I can't say that it didn't give me opportunities. It made me, for the first time, in control of my career."

After many successful movies and critical acclaim, DiCaprio said he loves acting.

"There's no other art form in the world that affects me more. There's nothing that I walk away from feeling transformed by the way I do with cinema," he said.
