Leonardo DiCaprio romance with Israeli model Bar Rafaeli is apparently back on, since the on again couple was spotted holding hands at the Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills last week. I guess this means that Bar's romance with pro surfer/rebound guy Kelly Slater is off.

Every woman's go-to penis, Kelly Slater, was in Israel visiting his new girlfriend, Model Bar Rafaeli (Leonardo DiCaprio's ex), and a scuffle broke out between him and some photographers trying to get a shot of the couple.

[Slater] wasn't ready for the world to know when he visited Rafaeli in her native Tel Aviv at the weekend. The champion surfer, who is of Syrian descent, was visiting Israel for the first time as part of efforts by the group Surfing for Peace to promote reconciliation between Israelis and Palestinians through the sport. Slater was questioned and released by police after a scuffle broke out between him and two photographers.

I'm more interested in why every Hollywood type chickadee runs to Kelly Slater the moment they break up with someone? What's he packin' that the rest of us girls need to know about?

Cameron Diaz: Surf's Up!

Life & Style Weekly had these pics of Cameron Diaz indulging in her new favorite pasttime, surfing in Hawaii. This time around there was no Kelly Slater to be found, just Hans Hederman, who taught both Cam and Justin Timberlake to surf while they were still together.

“Hans is one of the best,” says the insider. “He owns the surf shop that Cam is renting her board from.”

Cameron has been spending two hours at a time out in the ocean, several times a day, says the insider. She even tried surfing at night so she wouldn’t be photographed.

“Now she's blatantly out in the open,” says the insider. “She really doesn't care who sees her - you can just tell she loves surfing. She seems very relaxed now, and just getting used to being a surfer and being out in public with everyone everyday.”
Cameron has become quite an expert, using a 9-foot long board, says the insider.

“That's a big board!” the source insider says. “The waves have at least 6 foot bases. It’s not easy — she looks like a stuntwoman out there.”

It's good to see that those long hours in the gym are also paying off for Cam with a superb bikini body.

Hot on the heels of yet another couple declaring their friendship status (Justin and Scarlett), Kelly Slater has jumped on the bandwagon to tell the tabs that he and Cameron Diaz are just friends, too. Interesting that his "just friends" proclamation comes hard on the heels of Cameron allegedly getting a bit tipsy and comparing Slater's "little friend" to a large breadstick recently.

Doesn't that "just friends" line ever get old for these people? Why don't they ever just admit that they're doing the nasty, and get it over with? I think that the truth might be a little refreshing for those of us who read the same schlock over and over. Besides, what the hell do they pay those publicist people for anyway? They need to come up with a new schtick.

Cameron Diaz was at Cut in the Beverly Wilshire Hotel Monday night, "with a girlfriend and drinking wine for more than three hours," says an L.A. spy. The friend then asked a pointed question about her new beau, surf champ Kelly Slater. "Cam grabbed a breadstick to demonstrate. She was in great spirits and kept twirling her hair," says the witness. TMZ reports that Cameron continues her sun, surf, 'n sand vacation in Hawaii with surfer Kelly Slater. This time the pair were spotted hitting a round of golf on Oahu wearing closely matching outfits.

She definitely looks happier than last week at the Golden Globes when she ripped Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake two new ones for "flirting".

Reports that Cameron Diaz is having a rebound affair with surfer Kelly Slater are just silly, his mother has revealed exclusively to In Touch.

Though Cameron has jetted off to Hawaii to be with Pamela Anderson’s hunky former boyfriend, there is nothing romantic going on, she insists.

“They have been friends for a long time,” Judy Slater said from her home in Cocoa Beach, Fla. “Every time somebody sees somebody else eating dinner, they think it’s a romantic thing. It’s silly.”

Cameron and Justin announced the end of their three-and-a-half-year romance last week, and Cam clearly needed to get away after bumping into Justin with 7th Heaven’s Jessica Biel at the Golden Globes on Monday.

Asked if she believed Cameron was using Kelly to get away, Judy said: “She might be — I don’t know. She just called him and asked if she could come over for a few days. It was nothing they had planned.”

Cameron and Kelly, both 34, have known each other since meeting on a 2005 conservation expedition to Honduras for the MTV show Trippin’.
