The cast and crew of Jennifer Love Hewitt's TV show, 'Ghost Whisperer', are seeing real ghosts, or at least what appear to be unexplainable apparitions.
The premise of the show is that Hewitt can see and talk to "earthbound spirits", and now it looks as if fantasy is becoming reality. A source from the set told the National Enquirer "There are some strange goings on. The producers are wondering what's going to pop up next.
"Just a few weeks ago, when the producers were reviewing the days filming they could see the image of a shadowy figure just behind Jennifer's shoulder.
"Not too long after, cameras were placed inside a house set on fire to get footage of flames. When the film came back, there was an image of a woman standing at the bottom of a set of stairs - but no actors, actresses or even crew members on the set at the time! Everyone was totally creeped out."
There have been some other unexplained activity around the set, and some of the cast and crew are wondering about poltergeist activity. Some of the things that happen are lights moving, and lights bursting over actors heads.
The activity has been enough to spook some would-be guest stars away from taking parts. Jennifer told Megan Mulally, "People are like, 'We're not guest-starring on that show!"
