Demi Moore Comes Clean About Plastic Surgery... Kind Of

In an interview with Elle Magazine, Demi Moore has finally confirmed the rumors that she's had plastic surgery. The 47 year old actress stated that she had work done, but only to her body. She also admitted to body image issues, and would not rule out more plastic surgery in the future. According to nydailynews.com:

"I've had something done but it's not my face," says the mother of three... However, Moore did reveal that she wouldn't be opposed to having plastic surgery in the future.
"You know what? Maybe one day I'll go under the knife," she admits. "It just irritates me that people are constantly saying how much I've spent on plastic surgery."

"I had an extreme obsession with my body," she says. "I made it a measure of my own value. I tried to dominate it, which I did, and I changed it multiple times over."

It's nice to hear her finally revealing that her body is not 100% plastic surgery-free. I never believed the audacious rumors that she'd had $3 million worth of plastic surgery, nor did I believe her frequent denials of going under the knife. I wish that the reporter from Elle would have asked her why she felt it necessary to deny having plastic surgery for all those years. Good for you to finally embrace it, Demi! Now admit to having work done on your face and we'll all be happy!

Demi Moore Responds to Articles Like the One Below

Apparently Demi Moore is not happy with people questioning her claim that she's not had any plastic surgery. Her quote in Marie Claire France magazine prompted many websites, such as this one, to question the truthfulness of her claims. This caused her to respond via Twitter:

“All this garbage that came out today about me is nothing more than an effort to diminish not just me but all women,” Demi Tweeted on Monday afternoon.
Demi advised other women to live their life free of body comparisons or criticisms. “Diminishing us by continually measuring women based on how we look. Or dont look. Creating comparisons instead of connections Say no 2 that!” she added.

The lady doth protest too much, methink.

Demi Moore Denies Having Plastic Surgery

In a recent interview, actress Demi Moore addressed rumors that she's had a ton of plastic surgery to look as good as she does. She denies everything.

"[The plastic surgery rumors are] completely false," Demi tells Marie Claire France. "I've never had it done. I don't like the idea of having an operation to hold up the aging process. The scalpel won't make you happy."

Hmmm.... Very interesting. Demi, I think your nose is growing... and it's not from a rhinoplasty.

It's funny that she would feel comfortable to admit using leeches to suck and "detoxify" her blood but would be all denials with plastic surgery. (Link)

Ashton Beats CNN

"In some ways this is kind of a commentary on the state of media. I believe we are at a place now with social media where one person's voice can be as powerful as a news network - an entire media network. That is the power of social Web ... an uprising of the Internet. Through your own stream [you] can have a voice that's as loud as a media network." - Ashton Kutcher brags about his Twitter triumph over CNN. The actor challenged the media company to a Twitter-off to see who could reach 1 million followers first.

Demi Moore - $3 Million of Plastic Surgery?

In a recent interview, actress Demi Moore addressed the rumors that she's had $3 million worth of plastic surgery:

Do you get irritated by all the rumours suggesting you paid $3 million for surgical procedures on your face and body?
“Yes, it’s irritating - and it’s also not true. But to fight it feels futile because it just perpetuates the myth. The truth is I have no problem with enhancing one’s looks or fixing something that’s changed. It’s always an option, but I can’t see me ever getting something like that done.”

Now, in my opinion she looks fantastic. While I do think she is a natural beauty, I also believe she's likely had some work done. Three million dollars worth though? That's ludicrous.

A successful plastic surgery practice grosses about a million dollars a year. That means that Demi would have to have undergone three years worth of plastic surgery by a single plastic surgeon to cover the three million dollars worth she's rumored to have had. If each procedure roughly costs ten grand, then that would mean she would have had 300 surgeries! Not even Jocelyn Wildenstein can claim that!

Demi Moore Admits to Leech Therapy

On a recent appearance on David Letterman's Late Show, Demi Moore admitted to undergoing a turpentine bath and leech therapy in order to "thin" and "detoxify" her blood. It occurred at some woman's house in Austria. The leech was placed onto her belly button, where it latched and sucked blood until it was fully engorged and fell off.

Leeches??!! Yuck.

I find it completely amazing that celebrities are comfortable admitting to ridiculous 'treatments' like this, yet still can't admit they've had plastic surgery. It's more appropriate for a Hollywood star to admit they've had high pressure water shot up their rectum (the celebrity colonic) than a facelift. With the slow trickle of stars coming forth and admitting their plastic surgery, maybe things will eventually change.

The New It-Party on Oscar Night

Don’t worry about your favorite A-list stars … They’re not concerned that Vanity Fair’s Oscar fete was cancelled this year. There’s a new big bash on the block!

According to Variety, Demi Moore and Madonna have joined together to throw a last-minute party. The invite list? Why, Hollywood’s hottest of course! The party locale is top-secret. However, People has predicted it will be at the home of Guy Oseary, Madonna’s manager.

Demi Moore Should Ask for Her Money Back

I hope Demi Moore got some sort of money back guarantee from her plastic surgeon, because it looks like that $40,000 worth of work has gone the way of the dodo bird. At 45, Demi is definitely showing her age, as you can see in the first picture. The second picture is at a recent event where she was looking totally stunning. Her bod still looks awesome though.

Do You Mean to Say That Demi's Not All Real?

The UK's Daily Mail reports that Demi Moore has spent almost a half million dollars on plastic surgery, injections, lipo, and more in order to get and keep her bangin' bod in shape for movie roles. The roles, unfortunately for Demi's wallet, just haven't materialized, and now she's speaking out against Hollywood's obsession with youth.

The 44-year-old told a magazine: "It's been a challenging few years, being the age I am. Almost to the point where I felt like, well, they don't know what to do with me. I am not 20. Not 30.

"There aren't that many good roles for women over 40. A lot of them don't have much substance, other than being someone's mother or wife."

After a string of flops in the 1990s, she took a career break, during which time she met her current husband, 29-year-old Ashton Kutcher.

Miss Moore then returned to the screen in 2003's Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, emerging from the sea in a skimpy bikini which showed off the results of a cosmetic surgery spending spree.

As well as breast implants, collagen injections and liposuction on her hips, thighs and stomach, she had a £5,000 ($10,130.00) procedure to lift the sagging skin on her knees.

She also employed an army of advisers - including a nutritionist, personal trainer, yoga teacher and kick-boxing coach.

"If we are told we are not valuable once we hit 30, it is a problem," she said. "We all have more to give.

"We can't just wait for something to happen. We have to say, 'I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it any more'."

I'm sure she must also feel a bit of pressure to stay hot for her much younger hubby, Ashton Kutcher, who is also much in demand in the Hollywood machine.

Demi Squashes Baby Rumors

Demi Moore effectively shoots down the recent pregnancy rumors without saying a word. All she had to do was have her picture taken in a second skin dress with washboard belly front and center.

No baby there!

Demi's Healthy Outlook on Being Thin in Hollywood

free image hosting

Source: USA Today
Demi Moore looked radiant, young, and, yes, very thin on the red carpet at the SAG Awards last night. In this month's Vanity Fair, she says "Thinness can't buy you happiness.", an attitude she has instilled in her three teenage daughters. She goes on to say that the three girls have very different body types, ranging from long and lean to voluptuous and busty. "I just try to encourage them to find the beauty in who they are and what they have, as opposed to focusing on what they're not." Moore says.

If Moore teaches them one thing, she wants it to be: "I want them to know that being thin does not equate to happiness."

Demi & Ashton Turn Down Starring Together

From Entertainmentwise

Demi Moore has turned down a role in a remake of 1967 film The Graduate, which originally stared Anne Bancroft and Dustin Hoffman.

Playing the younger man would have been….surprise surprise, her husband Ashton Kutcher, who is 16 years her junior.

The ‘G. I. Jane’ actress has now decided that it would be a bad idea to star alongside her partner.

She says, "Real couples being on screen together never seems to work."
