Scarlett Johansson is in talks to star as Navy nurse Nellie Forbush in the Broadway revival of 'South Pacific'. The show is currently scheduled to open in January of 2008.
A production source tells the Post, "They want the leads to be sexy. This is not going to be a stodgy old production of South Pacific."
Auditions for the leads will start next month, and up for the male lead is Russian baritone, Dimitri Hvorostovsky.
