Jolie to Play Another Assassin

Angelina Jolie has signed on to play another killer for hire in the film 'Wanted', with filming starting in Eastern Europe in May.

Variety is reporting that she'll play an assassin who agrees to take on an apprentice - played by James McAvoy - whose own hitman father was murdered. Morgan Freeman also stars in the movie. Timur Bekmambetov (the filmmaker behind the edgy, Russian "Night Watch" trilogy) will direct.

Wait a second, didn't she just adopt some kid and say she's going to be a stay at home mom now? That kid must adjust really fast!

ABC's upcoming drama, 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith', finally has a Mr. Smith. Martin Henderson will join Jordana Brewster in the one hour drama that is a spin-off of the big screen adventure that starred Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. The series will pick up where the film left off, with the husband and wife spy/assasins on the run from their respective employers, who were trying to have them killed.

33 year old Henderson is a New Zealand actor, and has been seen recently in the Hollywood flicks 'Smokin'Aces', 'The Ring', and 'Torque'. He is also recognizable as Britney Spears victim in her 'Toxic' video.

D-List Actress Chosen to Play Mrs. Smith

There has been lots of talk in the biz about who could possibly fill Angelina Jolie's shoes in the small screen version of 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith', and it seems they have found someone. Casting director Joseph Middleton has tapped Jordana Brewster, who has had a lackluster career thus far in such forgettable flicks as 'The Faculty', 'The Fast and the Furious', 'Annapolis', and 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning'.

In my opinion, I don't think she has the oozing sexuality that Angie has in order to pull off this kind of role. She doesn't have that kind of charisma.

It remains to be seen who will take Brad Pitt's place as Mr. Smith. Hopefully they will find someone with a bit more oomph than Brewster.
