'Night At the Museum 2' Gets Amy Adams

The super fun flick 'Night At the Museum', which starred Ben Stiller, is getting a sequel, and his co-star will be the currently hot Amy Adams.

Ben Stiller's forthcoming comedy sequel Night At the Museum 2: Escape from the Smithsonian, might be a little more watchable now that Amy Adams has joined the cast.

Variety reports that the ultra-talented Enchanted star is set to play an 'undetermined historical figure' who has a crush on Stiller's security guard Larry.

Apparently the plot will see the cursed artefacts from the Museum of Natural History boxed up and shipped off to the archives in the Smithsonian in Washington, with chaotic consequences.

Adams is one of Hollywood's hot actresses right now after turns in Charlie Wilson's War and Disney's smash-hit Enchanted.

Shaun Levy returns to direct the Night at the Museum 2, which will hit US screens on 22 May, 2009.
