How contagious is the addiction to the nail polishes? Extremely contagious!!!
I went to my local Sally Beauty shop yesterday, just to get some Soche Vite top coat ( i herd about it from "Polish Addict", because she called it her greatest nail opening. in the get to know article, and i just couldn't wait to try it, especially after reading some really good reviews on the net). But in the store i found that where is china glaze "for Audrey" for sale, and i was going to order it anyway, so decided to get this one too. And then the cashier told that where is a promotion going on on china glaze and orly - "buy one get one free" - so i had to pick up 2 more colors. And since already got so many stuff, i decided to get some color club nail-art goodies too :)
And yes!!! i am absolutely happy, still :)
Here is my interpretation of "For Audrey", that i was just dying to try for last several weeks. It happened to be a little hacki-military style, but for Audrey is the amazing color, which really don't need any design on it .

Marocco

This holografic design reminds me sunny and fairy Marocco or something of middle east :) The base is holographic china glaze (tonight)
I have tryed holografics before, but almost always was dissapointed. In fact this time too. It look really sparkly and deep on the pictures, or under the lamp, but when i just look at it, i only see grey-blue something on my nails unless under the special angle. So i still woder does it really look like it looks on the pictures when other people look at it. Anyway for those pictures it worth that i gave holos another shoot.

My birthday nails :)

I dotn know why, but i think that this design looks like a 50's housewife :) I wish i was lol.
And gosh - those "whole nail images" are hard to apply, i had to repolish my nails couple times until i get it to look at least like this - this whit thing just doesn't want to come up right. If you know a trick or something, please let me know , i am very interested. Usually i am good and comfortable at stamping, but those huge things... may be it just not meant for my nails... to bad becaus ei ahve got couple of them .
Anyway - this is my birthday manicure, because today is my birthday, so i am going out right now :) I am officially 26 :)

Pink Lace

My memory is so overloaded with all that stuff that we study at school, so i can't really think of anything else. I dont know if i have ever mentioned here that i attend a very hard and intensive graduate program on computer information system, and gosh - this is hard. Sometimes i feel that my head is just going to blow up. But the good news is that after the end of this semester i ll only have 2 classes left, so i am planning to graduate this December.
Good for me , doing my nails helps me relax and reboot :)
This particular design have helped me to solve the huge problem with my homework. When i was doing homework i get really stocked with one of the problems,so i decided to do my nails.



After nails was done, i solved the problem really quick, and also my computers fan, that blows like a space ship, makes my desk a perfect place to dry nails :)

Very Spring mood

Despite the fact that the weather is kind of cold and nasty, the mood is very spring and green, i wanted something very green and sparkly. As a base for this stamping i used the gradation technique in green color, then i put a sparkle top coat that i have got from Brook ( hey, Miss winner - congratulations with you first place!) and that i am deeply in love with since i try it . nest step is stamping the flowers and then i spiced it up with the little green stars. I really love this design, and really wanted something that does not scream - IT IS EASTER :) So i save my Easter inspiration for eggs, but spring inspiration is here - on my nails.

Invisible ...

I have have made some Easter nails for the Jamie's contest, with the little bunnies, that supposed to be on the blue polish, however my so call "blue" polish came up to be grey, so i think i did well, but it would be better to have more and better quality polishes .I am very jealous to girls that have all those tons and tons of polishes. i mean jealous in a good way, but i just realized that my stuff is mostly just a crap, and i need to renew it completely.
So to have it on a "paper" i need to get:
1.Marbling tools
2. Fimo fruits
3. Original konad plates
4. Nail art brushes
5. Nail art acrilic paint
5. Polishes.... tons of polishes ... many many tons of polishes :)

And here are some invisible design with the plate that does not fit for my nails. You almost cant see anything unless look from the special angle... Should i call this one something like - "secret garden gigantic flowers" ?

Simple mess

Oh yeah! i am almost back on the stamping marker.
As you may mentioned from the pictures here, i used to have a stamping kit, but left it in russia , because my friend wanted it so bad, so i decided that i may get another one here. But, you know all this economy stuff.. so haven't got one yet, but i was struggling so much without it. i mean no creativity can really replace good old stamping, especially when you ahve so little time for nails.
So yetoday my second excitement was gettign a new stmping kit.
I have got a chep one from e-bay, and i am not recomending it at all, plates are so poor, and polishes dont work at all, very transperent, you cant see it on any color. And moreover the colors i have got are not the colors i inteneted to have according to the sellers picture. But on the other hand it worth trying,m because it only was like 5 buks.




But where is another one comming. With more plates and polishes, so i will only keep stamp and scraper from this one.
I wanted to see if this cheap one will work, so i can tell my friends get it or not.
Since polishes wont work, i used regular polish and surprizingly it worked pretty good.
So here is my pink mess.

Could not resist to try my stamping kit again! I am absolutely in love with tis product. This time doing those nails took me about 20 minutes only. I found online an advise to use stamping kit with the turned off air condition.Sounds crazy, but this time it all worked just fine, even the green side of the stamper. And also this time i made much less mess. The trik is to use a paper towel to clean the scraper instead of the cotton party, so the fibers wont stik on the scraper and image plates. I am absolutely in love with my nails with this design. Base coat is Loreal 230

Konad Stamping nail art

Yestoday received the package with my Konad stamping nail art kit.

I have ordered it from www.wowsocool.com, and i am very satisfied with the service and quality of the product. Service was really amazing, they kept in touch with me all the way - sent me lots of notifications on e mail, and i even get a chance to talk with them on the phone. The package was delivered in only 3 days from California to Colorado. So i advice this company for everyone who would like to order konad stamping nail art. And i swear that this is not a commercial but just a summery of my own my honest experience.
Actually this is the one of only 2 sites i have found on the interent that allow you to build you own kit. Even though the other site seem to sell it cheapper, i have red a bad reviews about them, that they sent just a regular nail polishes, which is useless, instead of the "special ones" And after all this other company is located in Singapore.

So i didn't really order a kit, but i have got all the polishes plates and tools separately, and for my 45$ - i have got 3 image plates ( M53, M60, M36), 3 special nail polishes (white, Dark purple and Gold), Image plates holder, scraper, and 2 sides stamper. Actually getting a 2 side stamper was the mail reason was essential for me, since my own nails are really small, i expected that smaller green side may be more comfortable to use fro me.
Sertanly as soon as i got my package i immediately started to play with it. Even though where is a lot of complains in the internet that it is hard to make this stuff work, i didn't find any difficulties with it. Nice, fast and easy. In the beginning it turned to be a little messy, but i believe with practice i ll get better with not making a mess. Also in my very first try for some reason, i couldn't make the image stick on the stamper. Later i realized that the only reason it wont stick, is because i had to use stamper faster - as fast as it possible, right after scrap a polish from the image plate. Another thing is that you have to scrap it really fast too or not all the polish will be removed. But once picture is on the scraper, you don't have to harry any more, even after five minutes it sticks on nails just fine.
i also have tried to use it with the acrylic paint instead of the special polish, it worked, but not as good as with special polishes, so i don't really think that acrilic paint can be an option. In fact the thin layer of the polish that last on the image plate, turns into a thin plastic film, and sticks on the stamper. This is pretty much like making your own nail stickers, except that it is much thinner.
As about polishes my only disappointing is gold one. I actually mentioned before - watching numberouse examples of designs, that most of them use white, black, dark purple ( which in fact look more interesting when just black) red and blue. And in fact i think that all those pink, blue ad reds, does not provide and impressive effect. The best look is with withe and dark purple. But i still decided to try the gold one. Well, it is absolutely useless on the light polishes, and you actually can see it only on black. It even does not seem to be visible even on the dark red and and blue base polish :(
Actually interesting detail is that you can mix the polishes and make a new colors.
Here are the pictures of my very first try of this product, and in fact i d like it a lot, and i do not think that it is bad first try.
