Milla Jovovich Finally Popped!

'Resident Evil' star Milla Jovovich finally popped out a bouncing baby girl, Ever Gabo, weighing in at 7 pounds 8 ounces. The formerly svelte model-turned-action-star had packed on 70+ pounds while pregnant, and hopefully will return to her pre-preggers self sometime in the future.

Milla is engaged to her 'Resident Evil' director Paul Anderson.

Romero to Release Another Zombie Flick

I ask myself all the time, what is my fascination with all things zombie? Who cares! It's mindless (literally!) entertainment, and I love it. Give me 'Dawn of the Dead', 'Resident Evil', '28 Days Later', 'Shaun of the Dead', and now George A. Romero, the original zombie master, has a new release, 'George A. Romero's Diary of the Dead'.

Romero calls the film "a rejigging of the myth," and intends it to be a reboot of his zombie movie franchise. The story follows a group of students who are making an indie horror film. Unfortunately, life imitates art and the group become trapped in a world being consumed by living corpses. The filmmakers then begin to document the real-life horrors occurring around them.

There's no immediate word on when Weinstein might release the flick on the big screen, but stay tuned.

Yippee! The film premiered at the Toronto Film Festival this week.

Milla Jovovich Preggers

Model-turned-zombie-killing-badass Milla Jovovich and her producer hubby are expecting a baby, due in the Fall. This will be the first child for 31 year old Jovovich.

The couple met when Anderson directed Jovovich in the first Resident Evil and announced their engagement in March 2003. They have not yet announced a wedding date.

The marriage will be the first for Anderson and the third for Jovovich, who was previously married to movie producer-director Luc Besson and actor Shawn Andrews.
