ScarJo & Natalie Portman at Berlin Premiere

Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman walk the red carpet at the Berlin premiere of their film 'The Other Boleyn Girl'. They decided to share a kiss for photographers, either to distract from Natalie's hideous dress, or from the hideous reviews the film is receiving. You be the judge.

Natalie Portman Debuts Vegan Shoe Line

Sprightly Natalie Portman debuted her line of upscale vegan shoes at Te Casan in SoHo Tuesday night, and to gauge by gushing potential customers and fashion-forward supporters like Paper magazine's Mickey Boardman, the line appears to be a tremendous success. Even if the women enjoying the preview didn't quite know how to express it.

"They look wearable, right?" a woman said cryptically while slipping her French-manicured toes into a pair. Nearby, beside a neatly designed display, a woman from W magazine noted, "I'm psyched. I've been looking for vegan shoes as well." Another woman, clutching a full glass of red wine, commented, "They look like people could walk in them." Mission, we say, accomplished?

The shoes range in price from $185-325, and 5% of shoe profits from her line will go towards charity. Check out the line at tecasan.com.

SCARLETT JOHANSSON

“I’ve been battered for saying that I don’t believe humans are monogamous by nature. The response was, like, ‘What a ho-bag!’ I didn’t mean that I don’t practice monogamy in my own life—of course I do! I’m not going to be in some tarty relationship. But I stick by what I said. I remember another time, I said I get tested for AIDS twice a year, and again that got spun as me being promiscuous. But I was single at the time, and I think it’s important to do that!”

ON HATING GOSSIP MAGAZINES…“You’re never going to find me at the Ivy. I don’t care how good the Cobb salad is. These tabloid magazines—I think they’re hideous and the downfall of society.”

ON SUPPORTING BARACK OBAMA…“I will continue stumping for Obama until he’s elected. The past eight years have been painful for a lot of people. We’re in a state of emergency.”

NATALIE PORTMAN

ON MONOGAMY…“I’m into monogamy. But I’m not really into marriage right now. I sort of hate the legal aspect of it. What does the state have to do with it? Why are they making rules that say my lover can stay in the United States if they’re foreign or share my health care benefits because I’m straight—but if you’re gay, you can’t have that?”

ON BEING IMPRESSED BY HILLARY CLINTON WHEN SHE MET HER BEFORE THE SENATE…“I met with about 10 representatives that day and Hillary was by far the sharpest. Did you read Gloria Steinem’s op-ed piece? Hillary’s just so experienced.”

ON BEING STEREOTYPED A “GOOD GIRL” WHEREAS JOHANSSON IS STEREOTYPED A “HARLOT”…. “I get branded a lot as a good girl. I’m, like, the prude, and you’re more sexy...”

ON HER PUBLIC PROFILE…“The only thing that’s a little bit annoying, is I feel that I come off kind of boring sometimes.”

WTF Happened to Natalie Portman's Face?

If I hadn't already seen multiple pictures of Natalie Portman wearing this questionable dress at a TRL appearance, I would have thought that this was Madonna, not quite at her best. Now I see why Natalie always appears carefully posed for the camera, with a very small close-lipped, Mona Lisa-esque smile on her puss. She isn't quite as photogenic in those action shots, is she?

Natalie Portman Debuts New Love at US Open

Natalie Portman snuggled up with main man Nathan Bogle at the US Open tennis championships, for all the world to see. The two were openly kissing and cuddling, and fellow tennis fans noted that they could barely keep eyes and hands off each other.

Bogle is a former model turned fashion designer, and the new lovebirds have been an under wraps item since Spring.

Attention Lesbian Ladies: Natalie Portman's Available

Natalie Portman says in an interview that she's open to a lesbian relationship, though she's not necessarily looking for one.

The 'Star Wars' beauty admits she has never dated a woman, but is open to the idea of a same-sex relationship. She says, "I've never dated a woman or anything like it, but I think it's much more about the person you fall in love with. "Why would you close yourself off from 50 per cent of people?"
